There are some days here in Ghana that I really wish I could be just another dude. Everywhere you go people yell at you, trying to get your attention. Maybe they want you to buy something, or want to be your friend so you can help get them to Canada or just to show off to their friends. Sometimes they just want to mess with you, and on the rare occasion they genuinely just want to meet you. It's interesting to experience life as minority. It's obviously different here seeing as how we come from a place of privilege, but the feeling of not fitting in or being an outsider is still there. Most days it's okay, but some days I just want to be another face in the crowd.
